Members of The Art Guild invite the campus to come out and throw paint-filled balloons
at canvases! It is our goal to involve the entire Elon community in
creating a work of art that will be donated to the Children’s Museum of
Alamance County.
The Event begins at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. and it will be held on the Green of Moseley. This is behind Moseley Center by the Greek Courts.
Paint-filled balloons will be offered to students, faculty and employees at the following prices.
$1 for 1 balloon
or
$2 for 3 balloons
Upon
purchase of the balloons you are automatically entered into a free
drawing to win an original piece of artwork, from ceramic vases to
hand-dyed silk scarves made by Elon artists. The proceeds of our event
will be going with the paintings to the Children’s Museum of Alamance
County to help them continue their mission of encouraging children to
exercise their curiosity, develop their imagination, and discover
through exploration.
There will be fun, music and prizes given
out at the event. Find and throw the silver paint-filled balloons and
you automatically win a cool prize!
You don’t have to stay for the whole event. Just stop by and hang out with us for five minutes. Invite your friends as well!
