Reporters from outlets such as the National Journal and the Associated Press interviewed Hunter Bacot, an associate professor of political science and director of the Elon University Poll, in recent days regarding public attitudes in North Carolina in the waning days of the 2008 election season.
The latest interviews came on Oct. 31 just moments after the release of the latest Elon University Poll results. New data shows a groundswell of support for the Democratic Party among poll respondents, something considered “unimaginable” just a year ago, Bacot told reporters.
He has also appeared on News 14 Carolina, a statewide cable news channel, and in stories by the McClatchy News Service, which have appeared in papers including the Miami Herald.
