Elon's study of the nation's switch to digital television broadcasting was included in a Nov. 1 Broadcast Engineering story.
The magazine detailed a research project led by Connie Book, associate dean of the School of Communications, which showed that TV viewers are often incapable of resolving television broadcast reception issues. The study, which involved communications students, was conducted in Wilmington, N.C., where a DTV test was conducted.
