Campus security officer Louis Adams died Dec. 15, 2008, at Duke Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 18, at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home at 515 N. Elm St. in Greensboro from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be held nearby on Friday at First Presbyterian Church on N. Elm Street in Greensboro at 1 p.m.
According to the Times-News (Burlington, N.C.), Adams died one week after suffering a heart attack. He had worked full time for the Parkwood Fire Department in Durham County and has previously volunteered with the Gibsonville Fire Department and Elon Fire Department.
