McKeon, who turns 73 this month, became the oldest manager to win the World Series when the Marlins defeated the New York Yankees in six games.
He will be the subject of a feature story in the Fall edition of the Magazine of Elon, which will be published later this month. McKeon has made numerous media appearances since the Marlins’ victory. He is scheduled to visit Elon’s campus for a question-and-answer session Friday, Nov. 14; more details about that event will be posted soon.
