Michael Skube, associate professor of communications, wrote a retrospective on Pulitzer Prize-winning author John Updike for the Feb. 8 edition of the News & Observer.
Skube’s piece is titled “50 years later, ‘Rabbit’ is gone: John Updike leaves behind a voluminous body of work.” Skube reviews Updike’s career and his influence on American literature. Updike died in January at the age of 76. To read Skube’s piece, click on the link at right.
