Mason is one of 10 offensive linemen named to either the first or second team from the country’s 238 NCAA Division I football programs (117 in IA/121 in IAA). He is one of only two Southern Conference football players so honored. He is a business administration/accounting major with a 3.83 grade point average.
Earlier, Mason was named the 2003 First Team All-Southern Conference center Tuesday by the league’s football coaches.
