Elon entrepreneurship students visited the law firm of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC in Greensboro, N.C., on April 17. The students participated in discussions with attorneys representing a number of legal areas dealing with entrepreneurial ventures.

The discussions covered capital markets, health care, intellectual property, labor and employment, and business litigation.

Womble Carlyle was established in Winston-Salem in 1876 and now comprises 530 lawyers in 11 offices, including Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Greensboro, Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, Atlanta, Washington, Greenville (S.C.), Tysons Corner (Va.), Baltimore and Wilmington (Del.).

The law firm serves a wide range of regional, national and international clients in industries that include financial services, commercial real estate, information technology, health care, manufacturing and telecommunications, as well as educational institutions and governmental bodies and agencies.
