Kerstin Sorensen, assistant professor of political science, presented a paper at the Nordic Centre of Excellence's International Conference, held May 13-15 at Stockholm University in Sweden.
Her paper, “Party Platforms, Religion and Gender Ideology: Norway and Sweden in Comparative Perspective,” sheds light on differences in religious influence and views about gender roles in party politics and how these differences affect patterns of policy development in Norway and Sweden in the post-World War II period until the early 2000s.
