Bob Anderson, associate professor of political science, was a member of News14 Carolina’s panel of experts during the station’s broadcast coverage of the visit by President Barack Obama to North Carolina on July 29.
Anderson appeared in several segments of the broadcast, which lasted more than two and a half hours and covered a town hall meeting in Raleigh, N.C., focused on health care legislation. Prior to Obama’s arrival, Anderson discussed the importance of the president’s outreach efforts on the health initiatives. Following the town hall meeting, Anderson evaluated Obama’s efforts to promote the complex elements of the proposed laws and policies.
