Students from Elon University School of Law will volunteer their time for local charities through the third annual "Elon Law Reaches Out" program, Saturday, August 22.
The 2009 “Elon Law Reaches Out” community service day is set for Saturday, August 22.
The event provides an opportunity for all first-year law students, together with a number of second and third-year law students, faculty and staff, to volunteer with a range of civic and non-profit organizations in the region.
This year, the Student Bar Association has selected the following groups to work with:
– Adult Center for Enrichment
– Welfare Reform Liaison Project
– City of Greensboro
– Carolinas Chapter of Operation Smile
– Greensboro Urban Ministry
