Alamance Girls in Motion is in need of mentors

If you are a female student who likes to work with young girls, particularly 4th and 5th graders, Alamance-Girls in Motion needs you! Alamance Girls in Motion is a program that matches college women one on one with 4th- and 5th-grade girls in the community for exercise and education on topics including, body image, fueling the body and the importance of activity.

Volunteers are trained on delivering the materials and how to be a mentor. The program will run on campus on Thursdays from 3:30-5pm from Sept. 17 through Nov. 12. Mentor training is planned for Sept. 10.
