Students in the Elon in Los Angeles program appeared on a September episode of "The Price is Right," and senior corporate communications major Jamie O'Brien was implored to "come on down."
O’Brien bid on two items—several storage bins and a digital video camera. Both of her bids came up short, so she did not appear on stage with host Drew Carey. O’Brien was accompanied on the show with several other students in the Elon in L.A. program.
The nine-week summer program allows students to live, take classes and so internships in L.A. They earn six hours of credit and have interned at places such as Fremantle, Inside Edition, Evolution Entertainment, The Weinstein Company, Hollywood Life Magazine, E! International Dept., Screen Gems and MTVN_VH1.
Watch O’Brien’s appearance on “The Price is Right” (about the 22-minute mark).
