Gabie Smith, associate professor of psychology, presented at the Southeastern Psychological Association conference held in Chattanooga, Tenn., March 12-14.
Smith presented research relating to changes in gender role ideology and identity that take place during study abroad. She also collaborated with Grace Helms, an Elon College Fellow, on a presentation describing research on alcohol risk-taking in heterosexual and lesbian women.
