Heidi White, associate director of study abroad, presented twice at the recent Forum on Education Abroad conference in Charlotte, N.C. The sessions she co-presented included "Establishing an Institutional Vision for Education Abroad Programs… and Possible Prescriptions for Maintaining Focus" and "Bringing Study Abroad Home: Creative Approaches to Integrating the Study Abroad Experience back into the Campus Community."
The Forum on Education Abroad an organization whose exclusive purpose it is to serve the field of education abroad. It focuses on developing and implementing standards of good practice, encouraging and supporting research initiatives, and offering educational programs and resources to its members.
