Sang Nam, an assistant professor in the School of Communications, spoke at the 18th National Association for Korean Schools regional conference (southeast chapter) in Atlanta March 27 about using multimedia content in school.
About 200 Korean School teachers gathered to talk about how to improve their teaching at Saturday Korean Schools. Nam’s session was titled, “How to use Multi-Media Contents in Korean School,” and he talked about how to use YouTube videos in Korean School classrooms and provided some technical how-tos, including how to download YouTube videos and how to play YouTube videos without an Internet connection. Nam also discussed fair-use in an educational environment.
