Mileah Kromer, an assistant professor of political science, spoke at length with News 14 Carolina on June 11 about the upcoming runoff election between N.C. Secretary of State Elaine Marshall and former state Sen. Cal Cunningham for the Democratic nomination to take on incumbent U.S. Sen. Richard Burr in November.
Marshall and Cunningham took part in a June 10 debate televised by News 14 Carolina. Kromer spoke about the debate, campaign strategies, and what it might take for either Marshall or Cunningham to defeat Burr, whose campaign has more than eight times the amount of money on hand than either Democrat when it comes to the general election.
Kromer serves as assistant director of the Elon University Poll.
