Michele Woodson, a 2001 graduate of Elon's master of education program, has been named principal of Pleasant Grove Elementary School in Burlington, N.C.
Woodson has worked at schools throughout Alamance County, most recently as as an assistant principal at Altamahaw-Ossipee Elementary School since 2008. She also served as a curriculum facilitator at Southern Middle School; taught at Hawfields Middle School, Elon Elementary School and Burlington Christian Academy; and was a part-time instructor at Elon.
