Lynne Kurdziel Formato created the choreography for "All Shook Up," which opened Aug. 12 at Artpark, a professional theatre in Lewiston, N.Y.
In addition to two-time Emmy winner Sally Struthers and Broadway performers Carrie Anderson (“Momma Mia!” & “Avenue Q”) and Shannon Antalon (“Caroline or Change”), the show features current and recent graduates of Elon University in its 35 member cast: Courtney Markowitz, Jared Loftin, Grant Gustin, Julianne Katz, Christopher Staskel, Alex Pepper and Manny Naylor.
Courtney Markowitz heads out on the national tour of “Spring Awakening” as Ilse in the fall, Grant Gustin on the national tour of “West Side Story” as “Baby John,” Julianne Katz as “Hodel” in the national tour of “Fiddler on the Roof,” Manny Naylor is a principal dancer and associate director of Lehrer Dance, Christopher Staskel, a Lumen scholar, will pursue his craft in the NYU graduate program for Musical Theatre, and Alex Pepper and Jared Loftin are headed into their senior year as BFA Music Theatre majors.
