Family and Friends Day at Elon Law is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2010.
This event is a great way to learn about the law school and what Elon Law students do on a day-to-day basis.
Schedule of Events:
8:00 – 8:30 a.m. – Registration and Continental Breakfast
8:30 – 9:00 a.m. – Welcome from Daniel Lyon, SBA President and Dean George R. Johnson
9:00 – 9:45 a.m. – A History of Elon by Dr. Earl Danieley, President, Elon University, (1957-1973)
9:45 – 10:00 a.m. – Break
10:00- 12:45 p.m. – 1L Family and Friends: Mock Class with professors, Student Panel Q&A, and Professional Development session
10:00- 12:45 p.m. – 2L & 3L Family and Friends: “Homestretch” program giving information about the Bar exam (process and application information), Project Pass, Professional Development, and other upper year experiences.
Along with these informative sessions we will feature a silent auction, with proceeds going to student scholarships. Elon Law’s bookstore will be open throughout the day. Child care will also be provided.
