Students who are ready to declare a major should fill out the single page form in Duke 108. Students who do this by September 30, 2010, will be assigned their new advisor in time for preregistration advising. Preregistration occurs in November. Students may declare a major at anytime during the year, but they are especially encouraged to declare by the end of their sophomore year of study. Some majors, however, require an earlier commitment to graduate in 4 years.
