Carol A. Smith, associate professor in health & human performance, recently presented two sessions at the Southern District of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance annual conference, held in Greensboro, N.C., Feb. 16-18.
The topics of the sessions were the pedagogy of dance; and research on the value of outdoor education. In addition, she represented to the Division of Sport & Leisure as the current chair of the Council on Community Recreation and Outdoor Education at the General Assembly meeting.
