Polly Cornelius presents at “The ART of Public Memory” international conference

Polly Cornelius presented at "The ART of Public Memory" conference held at UNC-Greensboro on Saturday, April 9.

She co-presented a lecture-recital titled “Reprising the Feeling: City Songs by Vernon Duke” with J. Kent Williams, a professor of music theory at UNCG, James Douglass, an associate professor of collaborative piano at UNCG, and Philip van Lidth de Jeude, dramatic tenor.

Lidth de Jeude and Cornelius performed published and newly transcribed songs by Russian-American composer Vernon Duke (1903-1969).
