Thomason Price was one of fifteen rising juniors at Elon named as a recipient of the 2011 Lumen Prize, the university’s premier award that comes with a $15,000 scholarship to support and celebrate their academic achievements and research proposals.
Thomason will work with his mentor, Professor Joel Hollingsworth, over the next two years on his project titled “Engineering on the Go: Building a ‘Serious Game’ to Make Games on the Android Platform”. Thomason is the first student in the department of Computing Sciences to win this prestigious award.
