Haya Ajjan, an assistant professor of management information systems, and Gary Palin, executive director of the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and senior lecturer of entrepreneurship in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, presented a June 17 workshop in the 2011 International Council for Small Business World Conference in Stockholm, Sweden.
The workshop, “The Role of Web 2.0 Applications in Social Entrepreneurship,” discussed strategies, examples and best practices.
Founded in 1955, the International Council for Small Business was the first international membership organization to promote the growth and development of small businesses worldwide. The organization brings together educators, researchers, policy makers and practitioners from around the world to share knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.
