Pat Murphy, director of financial planning, was awarded a Ph.D in Higher Education from UNC Greensboro after defending his dissertation on Oct. 16. Murphy’s dissertation addresses the topic of military veterans and college success: a qualitative analysis of needs in higher education.
Murphy began his careeer with Elon in 1994 as bursar, and he received his MBA from the university in 2001.
