Job description
We are seeking an intelligent, resourceful and highly motivated individual to join our Alternative Investments Team. This role is a blend of finance, sales and psychology. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for understanding the trends and current events of the financial markets and articulating their effects on the hiring landscape. You will be working with of some of the most prominent private equity, hedge fund and venture capital firms in the industry as they look to recruit top talent for their investment research, investor relations and marketing teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for networking and building relationships with top Wall Street talent as you look to learn more about their backgrounds, long term goals and career transitions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Working directly alongside an experienced recruiter to support the overall efficiency of the recruiting team. Daily responsibilities will include meeting & screening candidates, providing resume critiques, interview prep and market landscape briefs
– Assisting in active searches through industry and firm landscapes, pitching ad creating candidate profiles, creating Search Summaries for clients and debriefing candidates
– Preparing industry reports for clients. Examples include: Investment Banking, Hedge Fund & Private Equity Compensation Surveys and Investment Banking Class Profiles
– Creating internal marketing materials and assisting with ad-hoc business development projects
