Communications assistant professor Vanessa Bravo presented two research papers at the International Communication Association's annual conference May 25-27.
At the conference, held at the Sheraton Downtown Hotel in Phoenix, Bravo presented both “Diaspora Relations: A Unique Type of Relationship in the Field of Global Public Relations” and “The Case of El Salvador State-Diaspora Relations with Its Migrant Community in the United States.”
ICA´s annual conference is one of the most competitive international research conferences in the field of communications. This year, the acceptance rate was 51 percent.
Bravo presented one paper in a session of the Public Relations Division and one paper in a session of the Conference Theme Division, along with presenters from universities located in the United States, Germany, Hong Kong and Israel.
