In light of the recent mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut and the daily reality of gun violence in the United States, the Truitt Center is hosting a forum to discuss, educate and better understand the diverse responses to this problem.
This is an interfaith event and people of all or no faiths are invited to come share how their beliefs and values shape their views on issues of gun control and mental health care. Two Truitt Center interns will be mediating the discussion.
Dinner will be provided for all who attend.
January 22nd from 7:30-9 p.m. in the Oak Room (First floor Moseley)
Sponsored by the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life
