The Multicultural Center is looking to hire two Diversity Peer Mentors for the 2013-2014 Academic Year.
Diversity Peer Mentors (DPM) represent a team of students whose primary role is to enhance campus climate through programs which improve understanding, communication, and integration among students at Elon University. DPM will help students gain effective communication and leadership skills, which are critical for living and learning in inclusive communities.
Diversity Peer Mentors service as facilitators in partnership with the Diversity Advocates of the Diversity Emerging Education Program (D.E.E.P) to engage in a two (2) semesters, fall and spring, diversity education curriculum.
This is a paid position, mentors will receive a stipend of $1,000 ($500 each semester) once their programs have been completed.
