Reporting interns have the opportunity to write features, notebooks, game stories, blog posts and more. Reporting interns work with assigning editors on story development for print and online.

Social Media
The ideal candidate is an innovator with a varied journalism background who’s focused on growing a digital audience — and who will continuously devise and execute new content offerings.

This person will likely spend some of his/her day assisting daily coverage needs, including: finding sources/news tips via social media, live tweeting from events, compiling media roundups to augment our coverage, moderating live chats and helping with Web/mobile production as needed, among other responsibilities. He/she should monitor industry trends and be proactive in engaging Baltimore’s social media community.

Internships are unpaid and require students to receive academic credit.
Students should be mature, career focused, reliable, and strong communicators.
