Gaugau Tavana, Samoan chief, educator and co-leader of the WT course in Samoa, will be present to talk about the course and answer student questions.
Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the offerings that are available through the Winter Term 2015 course “Plants and Culture of Samoa” at an information session on Tuesday, March 18, at 4:30 p.m. in McMichael 115.
In this course, students will have the opportunity to examine the interactions between the plants and the people of Samoa, while living with families in the capital city of Apia and in the small village of Saipipi.
