Elon to co-host Google 'Get Your Business Online' programs

The Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership is helping to lead a series of free workshops that take place on Elon University's campus from March 25-28, 2014, for anyone in the Alamance County or surrounding communities.

The Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, along with the North Carolina SBTDC and Alamance Community College, will host four free Google workshops this month as part of Google’s “Get Your Business Online” Week.

The sessions will be held each day March 25-28 in the Koury Business Center room 145 from 1-3 p.m.  Anyone from the Alamance County community can attend as many as they wish by registering in advance.

The week’s activities will not only showcase the value of the Internet as a tool to help small businesses grow but also provide an opportunity for Alamance County business owners to connect and share insights.

For more information or if you encounter trouble with online registration, contact Professor Kevin O’Mara, executive director of the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, at omarak@elon.edu. The workshops take place during Elon University’s Spring Break, which should leave plenty of parking for campus visitors.
