Lucinda Austin publishes articles in Encyclopedia of Health Communication

Lucinda Austin[/caption]Elon University School of Communications Assistant Professor Lucinda Austin authored three articles for the new Encyclopedia of Health Communication, published by SAGE Publications. Austin’s articles cover “Health Communication: Unintended Effects,” “Emergency Preparedness and Response” and “Public Relations: Segmentation.”

With nearly 600 original articles, the Encyclopedia of Health Communication, edited by Teresa Thompson, is the first reference book to comprehensively cover the range of health communication theory, research and practical application.
