The Broadcast Education Association Festival of Media Arts Committee announced Feb. 23 that ESTV’s “Phoenix14News” was awarded a Best of Festival Award for student news productions.
The award puts the show in the company of the other winners from institutions such as Arizona State University, University of Alabama, University of North Carolina and University of North Texas.
In addition, the show also received a third-place award in the Promotional Videos category.
The awards will be presented April 17 in Las Vegas at the annual convention of the Broadcast Education Association.
