Digital media are changing what it means to understand history. A national expert on digital humanities, Kelly explains how innovation lets even a novice work with massive data sets and take the understanding of history into exciting new directions.  Kelly is a professor of history at George Mason University and a specialist in the scholarship of teaching and learning history. His most recent book, Teaching History in the Digital Age, was published in 2013 by the University of Michigan Press.
