Byung Lee, associate professor of journalism, will serve as a Fulbright Professor in his native South Korea for the 2004-05 academic year.
Lee will teach Web communications courses at Hankook University of Foreign Studies in Seoul and conduct research during the fall and spring semesters. Lee was invited to serve as a Senior Fellow in Singapore in 2002-03, but the SARS epidemic in Asia last year prevented him from accepting the position.
Lee has been a member of the Elon faculty since 1996. He teaches courses on editing and layout, polling, research and presentation, and Web publishing and design. He has published numerous articles in scholarly journals and publications and conducted workshops on Web publication, graphics and design.
