Pranab Das, associate professor of physics, attended the international conference “Forum 21” in Chantilly, France March 25-28. On March 27, he was part of a panel to make a plenary presentation titled “Accommodating Physical Reality: The World of Science.” His five co-panelists included Claude Cohen-Tannoudji, a Nobel Laureate in physics; Joe Silk, head of astrophysics at Oxford; and researchers from Harvard, Fermilab and Batelle national labs.
Later on the same day, Das, Tannoudji, Silk and others led a break-out session on the scientific quest for truth.
