Judith Howard, associate professor of education, delivered an invited
paper on March 23 to the Oxford Round Table at Lincoln College and New
College in the University of Oxford, Oxford, England.
Her paper, “Universal Design for Learning: Building Accessibility into
Problem-Based Curriculum,” was one of 14 papers delivered and discussed
during the week-long international forum, “Addressing the Special
Education Needs of Children” held March 21-26 in Oxford. Round Table
forums are limited to a small number of persons who are invited to hear
papers and contribute to discussions regarding current trends and issues
facing state and national systems of education.
