All tickets to the Liberal Arts Forum lecture by Piper Kerman have been distributed. At 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, a standby line will form near the Center for the Arts box office. Unfilled seats will be offered to waiting patrons before the start of the talk. Best efforts will be used to fill all available seats; there is no guarantee that everyone in the standby line will be admitted.

A non-violent drug offender became a best-selling author with “Orange is the New Black.” Today, Kerman is a tireless advocate on prison and criminal justice reform. Through her work with national agencies and in Washington, D.C., she champions alternatives to inside time and programs to aid reentry into society.
