The website offers regular updates highlighting the construction and progress of Elon University’s communications expansion, which includes the addition of a 45,000-square-foot facility connected to McEwen Communications Building.
To highlight the expansion project, the School of Communications recently launched a construction blog, blogs.elon.edu/commexpansion. The site will offer regular updates – heavy on photographs – on the Communications Commons’ construction, expected to be completed by fall 2016.
Recent posts have featured a social media update from President Leo M. Lambert, Communications Dean Paul Parsons’ project recap for alumni, and an Instagram photo of the new brick sidewalks leading to McEwen. In addition to posts, the blog includes an expansion overview and links to related news articles.
The communications expansion will nearly doubling the total amount of space supporting the school’s programs. It will also bring together all of Elon’s communications and student media programs into a single location.
