Michael Jefferson ’03 has been named outstanding graduate student of the year at the University of Mississippi’s School of Music. Jefferson will complete his master’s degree in May.
Jefferson earned degrees in Music Education and Music Performance at Elon. A french horn player, Jefferson has accepted a position as director of bands at Graham High School in Graham, N.C., in the fall.
