The Kernodle Center for Service Learning recently completed a three-part critical thinking series for its community partners.
Led by David Johnston, assistant professor of philosophy and a former academic service learning instructor, the workshops offered tips for local non-profit agencies to think creatively.
The series covered tips for problem solving, rules for brainstorming and problem solving techniques. The final session, held Friday, May 7, allowed participants to apply these strategies to problems within their own organizations.
