Toddie Peters, Distinguished Emerging Scholar and assistant professor of religious studies, presented a paper titled “Economic Justice Requires More than the Kindness of Strangers” June 9 at the 11th World Congress of Social Economics. The conference was held in Albertville, France.
Leading scholars from around the world gathered for the conference, whose 2004 theme was “Social Economics: A Paradigm for a Global Society.” The conference runs through Friday, June 11.
