Job Posting
I. Title: Crisis Response Coordinator
II. Primary Function: Coordinate Crisis Intervention Program.
III. Qualifications:
Required:
A. College degree in social sciences, human services, or equivalent
B. Previous experience in area of sexual violence and/or volunteer administration
C. Organization and communication skills
Preferred but not required: Ability to speak Spanish
IV. Major Responsibilities:
A. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers providing crisis intervention services on 24-hour crisis line and at Elon Satellite Office
B. Ensure crisis line coverage and staff back-up
C. Provide direct services to adult clients including crisis intervention and court advocacy.
D. Coordinate the multi-disciplinary approach sexual assault response team (SART) services for adult victims of sexual assault
E. Coordinate quarterly training for professionals responding to sexual assault
F. Coordinate support group for adult victims of sexual violence
G. Provide or coordinate contractual services for provision of services to Spanish-speaking victims of sexual assault.
H. Maintain case tracking program and complete statistical and program reports
I. Provide annual program evaluation and performance evaluation of all crisis line volunteers, the crisis intervention program, and SART.
V. Duties will require rotating on-call back-up and some weekend and evening work.
VI. Reports to CrossRoads Executive Director
VII. Salary: Low 20’s to lower mid-20’s, depending on experience and Spanish speaking skills
