Niki Turley has been promoted to Director of Residence Life, beginning this fall. She replaces the current director, Doug Searcy, who will join the senior staff of Wingate University on September 1 as Dean of Student Affairs.
During her time as associate director of residence life for operations and information management, Turley has revolutionized the room sign-up processes and greatly advanced the use of technology throughout residence life. In addition to her successes at Elon, Turley brings nine years of experience in residence life, service learning, judicial affairs, substance education and summer conference administration. She holds a master of science degree in counseling psychology from Palm Beach Atlanta College and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Valdosta State University.
