Physical Therapy program earns top third ranking

Elon’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program ranks #52 out of the nation’s 194 accredited physical therapy programs. The only other North Carolina PT programs in the top 100 are at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University.

Elon’s physical therapy program was created in 1996 and moved from a master’s-level program to a doctoral program in 2003.

The three-year full-time program is accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). It features an innovative modular curriculum that allows students to learn in a variety of clinical settings.
