Susan Patton, Elon University’s senior associate registrar, was recently elected vice president for the Carolina Association of Registrars and Admissions Officers.
During the 2016-17 academic year, Patton will represent North and South Carolina as the state association’s vice president for registrars. She will be responsible for addressing concerns of registrars in the Carolinas and evaluating how CACRAO can best serve the educational needs of institutional Registrars.
During the year, Patton will contribute to the creation of an education summit as well as educational opportunities for the annual meeting held in December. Additionally, Patton was selected to receive a $2,500 scholarship to attend the national meeting (AACRAO) in Phoenix later this month.
