Elon students, faculty, and staff will once again have the chance to show their appreciation to the university’s donors during "A Thousand Thanks," a campus-wide gratitude event scheduled for April 5.
The sixth annual “A Thousand Thanks” event will highlight the role philanthropy has played in Elon’s history and offer members of the Elon community the chance to write personal notes to alumni members of The 1889 Society, thanking them for their loyal support.
The 1889 Society recognizes alumni who give to Elon every year. Established in conjunction with the university’s 125th anniversary, The 1889 Society is named for the year of Elon’s founding. Elon seniors become members of The 1889 Society by making a gift to Elon before graduation.
“A Thousand Thanks” will launch at College Coffee on April 5, and writing stations may be found throughout the day at the following locations:
• Moseley Center – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Daniel Commons – 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Global Commons – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Or write your own personal note and send it via campus mail to Donor Relations, 2600 Campus Box.
