A group of investigative journalists from Ukraine will serve on a panel to provide insights on the current situation in the warzone in eastern Ukraine, discuss the prospects of returning Crimea back to Ukraine, and share their experiences fighting corruption in Ukraine.
The panelists include Roman Bochkala (NGO “Stop Corruption”), Andrii Lokhmatov (“Ukrainian Media Group”), Serhii Medianyk (“Espresso TV”), Mariia Zemlianska (“Svidomo (Consciously)” Civil Service NGO) and Olena Lohinova (Radio Svoboda). Their visit to the U.S. is organized by “Friendship Force of Central North Carolina,” “Piedmont Triad Council for International Visitors,” and the U.S. State Department.
A reception will follow. The event is sponsored by the Love School of Business.
